More than a dozen furry guests visited Wright State University’s Dunbar Library Dec. 14 for Fuzz Therapy. Hundreds of students played with the 4- to 10-month-old puppies as a way to relax during Finals Week.
The event was coordinated by 4 Paws WSU, a student organization that fosters/co-handles puppies in conjunction with 4 Paws for Ability in Xenia. The nonprofit 4 Paws for Ability breeds, trains and places therapy dogs with children and veterans with disabilities.
Organizers say the event gave them an opportunity to discuss the program and recruit more students to foster future service dogs.
