A Wright State University professor is giving a group of five women inmates a voice. The project is called Pens to Pictures, and its creator, Chinonye Chukwu, assistant professor of motion pictures at Wright State, says the stories are hard to hear and see.
“But they’re real. And they’re raw. And I think that they’re all rooted in humanity,” she said.
