Free scarves, hats and other winter accessories were given away to Wright State students at the second annual Scarf Frenzy. The give-away took place on the second floor of the Dunbar Library on Jan. 27.
Over the last year, scarf makers with the Wright State Knitting and Crocheting Circle created 271 items for this year’s event.
“It just makes all of us feel so good and makes us smile,” said Cindy Vanzant, Women’s Center assistant director.
In the past two years the group has provided 300 scarfs to students in need.
The event was sponsored by the Knitting and Crocheting Circle, the Women’s Center and the University Libraries.
