Wright State University honored more than 2,100 graduating students at its spring commencement ceremony April 29 in the Wright State Nutter Center.
The spring class of 2017 included graduates with 1,346 bachelor’s degrees and 766 master’s degrees as well those awarded associate degrees and post-master’s certificates.
Graduating students range in age from 19to 61. The class included 1,471 students from the 16 counties anchored by Wright State’s Dayton and Lake campuses. Graduates came from 23 total states, and 304 international students from 19 nations.
The ceremony featured an address by Cliff Rosenberger, the speaker of the Ohio House of Representatives and a 2012 Wright State graduate. He urged graduates to make a difference and “never allow yourself to quit or give up, give back, help people in need.” Read more >>
