The Wright State women’s and men’s club bowling teams are both having terrific seasons. The women’s team is ranked fourth on collegebowling.com and the men’s team is ranked 15th.
“As a team the camaraderie and the communication is just top notch,” said women’s head bowling coach Jeff Fleck.
The women’s team has qualified for the National Bowling Tournament seven of the last nine years. Last year the team finished the season ranked ninth in the country.
“We put a lot of time in to be successful so it’s really nice to be recognized,” said Sarah Carpenter, a junior on the women’s bowling team.
Both clubs will be in action on Feb. 25 when they host the American Heartland Intercollegiate Bowling Conference (AHIBC) Championship at Beaver Vu in Beavercreek.
