A capacity crowd of newly admitted Wright State students and their families took advantage of the university’s new Wright Choice event.
Launched on March 14, the program offers admitted students additional opportunities to plan for their successful college journey and to meet Wright State’s award-winning faculty, support staff and talented students.
“Many of our very busy admitted students have not had a chance to arrange a campus visit or meet with the professors and students in their majors. This event offers yet another convenient option for students and families to start planning for fall semester and to sign up early for Summer Orientation,” said Jennifer McCamis, director of admissions.
In addition to interactive discussions with faculty and students, more than 600 participants learned about the new Wright Tuition Guarantee Program, which also guarantees housing and dining fees; financial aid and scholarships; study aboard opportunities; the University Honors Program; and career services.
Based on the overwhelming response and success of the event, Wright State plans to hold additional Wright Choice events exclusively for admitted students on Fridays from 2 to 5 p.m. on April 6, 13, 20 and 27.
In addition, the annual Signing Day for new fall 2018 students will be held on May 1. Students can register for these events and other opportunities to explore Wright State at wright.edu/admissions/undergraduate/open-houses-and-events.
