Third graders through eighth grade boys from around Raider Country laced up their sneakers to learn basketball skills and have some fun with Wright State basketball players and coaches.
The camp took place in the McLin Gym at the Wright State University Nutter Center from June 4 to June 7. The camp provided each hoopster individual instruction for his position along with plenty of fun through numerous competitions.
“We work on the drills that we work on in practice and they get to do what our guys do every single day,” said Nick Goff, Wright State director of basketball operations.
Wright State will host a second boys basketball day camp on June 25 to June 28 for students entering third through eighth grades.
