Wright State Campus Recreation’s Yoga in Nature class offers the Wright State community a chance to exercise and de-stress while enjoying a peaceful spot on campus: Garden for the Senses.
Kara Donbrock ’18, the class instructor, said she loves how the sun shines through the beams overhead when she’s practicing yoga in the garden. “For some reason, it almost feels magical,” said Donbrock, a graduate student studying special education.
“It’s a really great opportunity that everyone should definitely take advantage of,” said Kelli Tittle, director of compliance.
The Yoga in Nature class is great for all yoga skill levels. Located next to Campus Ministry, the Garden for the Senses offers spots in the shade or sun so you may need to wear sunscreen and bring water.
The class is free and will be offered through October. For more information about times and dates check out the university calendar.
