
Ellis Human Development Institute
The Ellis Human Development Institute and Reach Out of Montgomery County, through the Wright State University School of Professional Psychology, are offering free, individual psychological first aid for adults affected by the mass shooting in Dayton.
Staff members are available to talk about the impact of the experience on affected individuals, their friends and family, and to help them mobilize their strengths and seek support.
Free walk-in services are available at the Ellis Institute on Mondays from 1 to 4 p.m., Tuesdays from 1 to 4 p.m. and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The Ellis Institute is located at 9 N. Edwin C. Moses Blvd. in Dayton. Call the Ellis Institute at 937-775-4300 for more information or to reserve a specific appointment time.
The Reach Out Clinic will offer free walk-in services on Thursdays from 5 to 8 p.m. The clinic is located at 25 E. Foraker St., next to Miami Valley Hospital, in Dayton. Those interested can call Reach Out at 937-258-2000 to reserve times or ask questions.
