Wright State University is welcoming prospective students interested in learning more about specific colleges, departments and degree programs to a variety of Visit Days. Participants and their families can meet current students, faculty and staff and see some of the labs and other facilities on campus.

Business with a Raider Day

Business with a Raider Day allows high school students to experience a day in the life of a Wright State business student. Attendees can spend the day shadowing a current business student to see firsthand the small class sizes, hands-on learning opportunities, the student-operated ReyReyCafe, Soin Trading Center, Data Analytics and Visualization Environment lab and more.

This event is open to students in all grade levels. The day will include hands-on activities, including seeing the New Media Incubator, Food Deserts, Archives, Anthro Lab and more. Participants can get information about studying abroad and career outlook for liberal arts majors.

Experience Nursing Day

Experience what it is like to be a nursing student at Wright State. Tour campus, then spend the afternoon meeting the dean, participating in hands-on activities in the Nursing Skills Labs, interacting with current nursing students and taking a career assessment inventory.

Path to Health Professions Day

Is helping others in your future? Attendees will explore and gain a better understanding of career opportunities in health care, including medicine, athletic training, chiropractic, mental health counseling, nursing, optometry, pharmacy, physical therapy, physician’s assistant and veterinary medicine. Find out how degrees from Wright State can open doors to the nation’s top professional schools. High school students can also learn what classes and activities they should be choosing now to prepare for their future.

Path to Health Professions Day is for:

• High school students interested in becoming a health professional
• Community college students interested in becoming health care providers and learning more about Wright State University
• Parents, friends and families of interested students
• Current pre-health students who want to learn more about their opportunities at Wright State

University Honors Program
