As part of the Wright State Career Services Employer Speaker Series, Andre White from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base will give a talk on purchasing contract jobs on Tuesday, Feb. 11, from 11 a.m. to noon in 120 Medical Sciences.
White will discuss pay and benefits, extensive training and the typical responsibilities of purchasing contract professionals at the base. Internships at Wright-Patterson are available and will be discussed during the presentation. In the past, speakers have accepted resumes at the end of the presentation.
WPAFB is home to over 20,000 civilian employees, many of them contractors.
The event is open to all Wright State students, faculty, staff and alumni. Everyone in attendance will be entered into a drawing for an instant camera.
