The new commencement schedule will be introduced in December when the university will hold two ceremonies in the Wright State University Nutter Center.
Wright State University will hold separate graduation ceremonies for the Graduate School and undergraduate students, President Sue Edwards, Ph.D., announced in an email to the university community.
The new schedule will be introduced in December when the university will hold two fall ceremonies in the Wright State University Nutter Center:
- Graduate School (Master’s/doctoral students): Friday, Dec. 10, at 7 p.m.
- Undergraduate students: Saturday, Dec. 11, at 10: a.m.
The university will also live stream each ceremony for family and friends who cannot attend in person.
Future Dayton Campus commencement ceremonies will follow a similar schedule.
“Commencement is a day that our graduates and families cherish,” Edwards said. “It is a day that the entire university community looks forward to, watching our graduates beam with pride as they celebrate with their family and friends.”
Edwards said that Wright State will continue to monitor the pandemic and provide graduating students with updates on what to expect during the Fall Semester.
Information on tickets for the ceremonies will be announced later in Fall Semester. The Commencement Implementation Committee is working diligently to make graduation a great day for each student.
More details on the ceremonies will also be shared on Wright State’s commencement website and university social media accounts.
