The Bachelor of Arts in Psychology Program offered at the Wright State University-Lake Campus is one of the nation’s best and most affordable, according to University Headquarters.

The independent education organization ranked the Psychology Program at Lake Campus No. 67 out of 100 psychology programs. The list was based on value and the needed service to the community.

“We’re particularly proud of our inclusion in the top 100, as our B.A. program in psychology only officially started in 2018,” said Dave Hochstein, Ph.D., associate professor of psychology.  “It’s a reflection of the student-centered approach of our faculty and the Lake Campus.”

The Psychology Program prepares graduates for a variety of careers, including administration, advertising, community relations, human resources, human services, marketing, research and education.

The program introduces students to diverse topics in psychology and provides a foundation to continue their education in many graduate programs.  Students learn valuable skills, including how to apply psychological theory, communicate effectively, collect and analyze data, and interpreting statistical information.
