Wright State University students and alumni were able to connect with potential employers during in-person and virtual Fall Career Fairs on Oct. 19.
Hundreds of students and alumni met in person with 56 employers recruiting for internships, co-ops and career positions in the Student Union Apollo Room. The virtual Career Fair preceded the in-person session in the morning.
“We provide an opportunity for people to connect,” said Debra Wilburn, associate director of Career Services. “It’s the people themselves that do the work on either side to make an excellent working relationship.”
Dale Nicdao, a 2021 Wright State alumna who now works in human resources for Cintas, knows firsthand that the fair can lead students in the right direction.
“The Career Fair definitely helped me network with a lot of companies and find where I belong,” said Nicdao.
Wright State Career Services hosted the Career Fairs. Employers interested in future Career Fair recruiting should email career_services@wright.edu.
