Wright State ranked top 8% in the world for best value for international students

Study Abroad Aide, a service that touts itself as the most comprehensive database of universities in the world, has ranked Wright State University in the top 8% of all universities in the world for best value for international students.

In November, Study Abroad Aide published its 1,000 Best Value Rankings for International Students after assessing 8,060 private and public higher educational institutions in 69 countries.

The rankings highlight the universities that offer high-quality education at an affordable price that is within most students’ budgets.

“Wright State offers over 50 STEM-eligible degrees and majors to international students with successful internship and post-graduation job placement opportunities,” said Susan Schaurer, vice president for enrollment management. “Our focus on international student success is essential to the value they receive while on our campus.”

Study Abroad Aide’s methodology included an evaluation of academic quality, which accounted for 75% of the institution’s evaluation. The difference between the university’s tuition fees and its home country’s average tuition and fees accounted for 25% of the evaluation to gauge the institution’s affordability.
