For some, Wright State University’s annual April Craze is a time to play carnival games, socialize with classmates and learn about student organizations and clubs. For others, it’s a way to dance their cares away and enjoy delicious food. But for all, it marks the end of Spring Semester and a time to unwind.
This year’s outdoor festival was organized by the University Activities Board, which expected over 2,000 students and 110 campus organizations and area food vendors.
“For some seniors, this could be their last event at Wright State,” said Lexi Ricker, a senior psychology major and University Activities Board president. “We are here to just have a good time.”
This year marks the 11th anniversary of April Craze, which replaced the former end-of-the-quarter event May Daze in 2012. It has continued to be one of the most widely celebrated events at Wright State.
