The seventh annual Laker Lawn Party highlighted the beginning of fall semester at Wright State University’s Lake Campus.
The Sept. 4 event promoted campus and community involvement, including full and part-time employment and volunteer, social, networking and business opportunities, to Lake Campus students.
Held on the rear patio overlooking Grand Lake St. Marys, the party also included fun activities like cornhole, miniature golf, inflatables, pizza, refreshments and live music from Issac Buschur, a 2021 Wright State alumnus who performed at the recently renovated Crown Amphitheatre.
“It’s so awesome because Lake Campus offers so many different clubs and organizations to get involved,” said Alyssa Diller, a junior nursing major. “At this event it’s all laid out for you.”
The event attracted over 20 Lake Campus organizations and 25 businesses and vendors hoping to recruit and connect with students.
“Every year, I see new people, I see new organizations and new clubs forming and it’s nice to see the growth,” said Diller.
