Students celebrate after graduating on May 2 during Wright State’s undergraduate commencement ceremony at the Nutter Center. Additional ceremonies recognized Lake Campus, graduate and Boonshoft School of Medicine medical students.
Jubilant cheers echoed through the Nutter Center on May 1 and 2 as more than 1,650 Wright State University students celebrated the culmination of their academic journeys during the university’s spring commencement ceremonies.
Graduates pumped their fists in triumph, waved excitedly to family members in the stands and proudly held their diplomas above their heads.
This spring, Wright State will award 984 bachelor’s degrees, 458 master’s degrees, nine doctoral degrees, 76 associate degrees and 132 Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degrees.
Through the lens of university photographer and videographer Erin Pence, these images highlight the joy and excitement of the celebration.
