Wright State University for the first time is notifying its community that new debt will be issued to construct a classroom building, student activity center and grounds storage facility.
Wright State’s new classroom building will include a 125-seat auditorium and will bring together the university’s centers for tutoring, writing and math. Its Woods Commons Building will create gathering space for students adjacent to the freshmen housing, and will include a food venue and office space for residence services staff, according to the university.
Bonds for the projects will be sold in $5,000 increments, the basis for a nearly $25 million general receipts bond offering that will be available for consumer participation Wednesday, according to Wright State.
