Fairborn, Ohio (WDTN) – The Wright State Board of Trustees is scheduled to approve a major contract with ABM industries to modernize campus heating and cooling systems.
The new energy plan will eliminate 30 major pieces of equipment, instead relying on one main boiler system, use cost efficient LED lights in fixtures, and utilize the scenic pond near the Nutter Center for geothermal cooling.
WSU officials say it will save the university $35.8 million over the next 15 years.
