MIAMISBURG — Members of Dayton’s Egyptian-American community might share differing views about former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, who was forced from power Friday, but most agreed that the 18 days of protests that toppled his regime sets the stage for democracy in Egypt.
“I am so proud I belong to this generation that triggered the change,” said Christine Rezk, a Wright State University graduate student from Alexandria, Egypt.
