The Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine Department of Surgery will hold its annual symposium, “Innovations in Medical and Surgical Education,” on Friday, Sept. 19, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., in the Bieser Auditorium of the Berry Women’s Health Center at Miami Valley Hospital.
This program has been designed to expose health care professionals involved in the care of patients and training of residents, medical students, nurses and physicians assistants to a variety of issues involved in medical education.
In addition to a full schedule of topics and speakers, educational breakout sessions will feature interprofessional learning, skills training in the simulation environment, faculty development/feedback and administrative challenges for coordinators and program managers.
