FAIRBORN — Wright State University hosted a panel of Libyan scholars at the Student Union Tuesday for a discussion on the true story of the revolution there.
Many native Libyans wanted to educate Americans about the situation in their hometowns and clear up misconceptions they’ve seen in media coverage.
“Libya is not engaged in a civil war,” said 2002 WSU alumna Shahrazad Kablan, who spoke to the group from the United Arab Emirates, via Skype.
