Dayton colleges get $350K for safety upgrades

Wright State University was approved for $322,500 to complete basic safety upgrades for university elevators. A 2003-2004 study of the campus facilities found deficiencies in up to 35 elevators across campus. Central State University was granted $25,000 to complete work related to HVAC and security systems renovations. The funds will be applied to projects in Wesley Hall and to updates for the entire campus security system.
