- The IFA began with an international flag parade.
- This year’s theme was “Diversity of Music.”
- International students demonstrated distinctive musical traditions from around the world.
- IFA 2011 also featured an international fashion show and global cuisine.
- During the event, the UCIE presented the Global Citizen and International Student Advocate awards.
- The annual event is sponsored by the University Center for International Education.
