Ohio Gov. John Kasich has appointed a new trustee to the 11-member Wright State University Board of Trustees.
Stephanie E. Green of Columbus was appointed for a term beginning July 1, 2017, and ending June 30, 2026. She replaces Eloise P. Broner, whose term ended June 30, 2017.
A Columbus native, Green attended Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Finance.
After graduation, Green joined Fifth Third Bank, where she has enjoyed a diverse 28-year career. She currently serves as senior vice president and director of Fifth Third Private Banking – Central Ohio Region.
Maintaining community relationships established early in her career, Green serves on several boards and commissions, including on the African American Leadership Academy, the Ohio Fair Plan Underwriting Association Board of Governors and as treasurer of the Columbus Association of the Performing Arts. She previously served as president of the board of directors of CompDrug, Inc., the North Side Child and Family Development Center and the Columbus Regional Minority Supplier Development Council and as a member of Columbus Board of Realtors, Affordable Housing Committee.
Green and her husband, Jack, live in the Columbus area and have two adult children.
