David Hopkins, the Wright State University president, has run a marathon and spent his academic career studying the way exercise affects the body and the aging process.
He has raised six children who have been involved in sports, including two current Centerville High School soccer players and a cornerback who played in the same defensive backfield with future NFL star Roy Williams at Odessa Permian High School in Texas (made famous from the book and TV series “Friday Night Lights”).
