Free scarves, hats and other winter accessories were provided to Wright State students at the third annual Scarf Frenzy. The give-away took place on the second floor of the Dunbar Library on Jan. 17.
Over the last year, scarf makers in the Wright State Knitting and Crocheting Circle created 378 items, an increase of 100 compared to last year.
“We provide as many items as we can for our students to stay warm,” said Cindy Vanzant, Women’s Center assistant director.
In the past three years, the group has provided 500 scarves and hats to students in need.
The event was sponsored by the Knitting and Crocheting Circle, the Women’s Center and the University Libraries.
