The sounds of clapping and cheering spill into the hallway and Atrium of the Wright State Student Union.
The University Center for International Education has hosted a live stream of the FIFA World Cup in its conference room since the tournament began on June 14.
“It’s always a lot of fun to get students to come in, whether they’re international or domestic to come in and enjoy a game together,” said Michelle Streeter-Ferrari, director of the University Center for International Education.
This is the fourth time the UCIE has hosted a World Cup viewing party for the Wright State community. Ferrari says that the Wright State community is welcome to stop by and root for their favorite team.
The next match that will be streamed will be July 11 at 2 p.m. in room E190 in the Student Union.
