Wright State students and first-year alumni learned how to dress for success on Sept. 30 at JCPenney at the Fairfield Commons Mall.
The event was designed to help students prepare for job and graduate school interviews, career networking events and the Wright State Career Fair on Oct. 16.
The JCPenney Suit Up event was open to any Wright State student in need of professional career apparel. More than 200 students registered for the event. Each student who attended received a 40 percent off coupon for career-related clothing, such as suits, dresses, sport coats, dress pants, shoes and accessories.
“A lot of students are not known for just having tons of funds laying around so anytime you’re able to get a really good deal on anything is great,” said Jabril Jacobs, a sophomore mechanical engineering student purchasing his first suit.
