FAIRBORN — Important names and faces in Ohio government, the defense industry and academia came together on Monday, July 18, to celebrate Wright State University’s role in an $11.4 million initiative to grow the state’s aerospace and defense workforce.
Ohio State Senator Chris Widener, WSU President David R. Hopkins, Ohio Board of Regents Chancellor Jim Petro and Ohio Air National Guard Brig. Gen. Mark E. Bartman were some of the notables and dignitaries present at a press conference announcing WSU’s plans to build an aerospace curriculum.
