We Serve U is working with area nonprofits to respond to community needs with two donation drives on campus.
The donation drives will benefit Raid Our Closet, a Wright State organization that provides students with free professional attire for the workplace, and Crayons to Classrooms, which distributes school supplies at no cost to teachers of students in need.
“We Serve U has blossomed into an organization that does a lot to help the community,” said Joanie Hendricks, co-chair of We Serve U.
The We Serve U donation drive goes through July 18. Drop off your donations in Rike Hall, Dunbar Library or the Student Union Bookstore.
A list of items in need is available on the We Serve U website.
We Serve U is also coordinating We Serve U Day on July 19, which provides employees and students with several volunteer opportunities without using leave time. To view the volunteer locations and sign up, visit wright.edu/we-serve-u.
