Govind Bharwani, Ph.D., co-director of ergonomics and Alzheimer’s care in the College of Engineering and Computer Science and director of Nursing Ergonomics and Alzheimer’s Care at the Nursing Institute of West Central Ohio, received the American College of Health Care Administrators Public Service Award for demonstrating extraordinary commitment to the advancement of the professionalism of long-term care. Specifically, he was recognized for creating and implementing the nationally recognized Behavioral Based Ergonomics Therapies program and activities program for memory care residents.
