DAYTON — Some employers have little incentive to heed President Obama’s nationwide plea before the U.S. Chamber of Commerce that they reinvest growing profits by hiring more workers, a local professor said.
That’s because corporate America continues to extract more work from their current employees, said Thomas Traynor, professor of economics at Wright State University.
