Wright State Global Business Professor Dr. Riad Ajami attributes the spike to the political instability in the middle east, investors trying to buy and own oil and an improvement in the US economy.
“We are looking at a situation where our economy is improving,” said Dr. Ajami. “When the economy improves we begin to use more oil.”
