BEAVERCREEK — It has been a barrier for years and now the community wants to
fix it. Beavercreek will be putting in a pedestrian walkway that will connect
Fairborn, by Wright State to Beavercreek, by the Fairfield Commons
Mall.
“It’s been a barrier to both pedestrians and cyclists for many
years, so it will take care of that particular problem,” said Roger Brislawn, on
the Bikeway Advisory Committee. For years, he’s been pushing for a pedestrian
bridge that connects Beavercreek and Fairborn. Now designs are drawn up, and
crews plan to break ground in 2014.
