Journalist/writer David Barsamian, founder and director of Alternative Radio, will speak at Wright State as part of the university’s Peace Talks series.
Barsamian’s address, titled War, Peace and Propaganda, will begin at 11:15 a.m. on Weds., Oct. 24, in 135 Oelman Hall.
Barsamian’s radio programs are featured on the Boulder, Colo.-based Alternative Radio, an independent weekly audio series heard on more than 120 radio stations around the world.
As a writer, Barsamian is perhaps best known for his series of interviews with Noam Chomsky, an activist and professor at MIT in the department of linguistics and philosophy.
Barsamian lectures on U.S. foreign policy, corporate control, the media and propaganda.
His address at Wright State is sponsored by the WSU Peace Lecture Committee and Wittenberg University.
