Wright State University hosted the National Weather Service’s Skywarn Spotter Training Workshop today at the Nutter Center.
Wright State is a storm-ready university—only 136 universities in the country rate Storm Ready. “It is a real distinction to be Storm Ready,” says Kim Nagel, emergency management administrator of Wright State.
To gain the distinction, Wright State took all the necessary steps required and then inspected by the National Weather Service.
