A surgeon and scientist who has participated in NASA space research and worked at the Defense Advanced Projects Research Agency has been selected the first chief scientist at Wright State Research Institute.
Dr. Timothy Broderick, 50, of Wyoming, Ohio, started Thursday after serving as a program manager at DARPA in Arlington, Va.
He will also become a professor of surgery at the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine.
