“I’ve always loved fashion and I was voted best dressed in my high school yearbook (at Shroder High School in Cincinnati),” said Braxton, 20, a Wright State University student. “My granny was a model back in the day and I remember going through her closet seeing all types of clothes, not just one style. I wanted to be like her growing up, I wanted to be in fashion.”
Braxton has put her dreams in motion by launching the clothing line New World Attire with her friends Tarell “Narely” Taylor and Demetrius Watkins. The Cincinnati trio started the clothing line in August 2014 and use a hand press to personally make all the clothing, which they sell primarily from their Instagram page.
