Wright State University students were treated by chef, author and television personality Kevin Roberts on Sept. 7 in The Hangar. Roberts, also known as “The Food Dude,” hosts TLC’s “BBQ PitMasters” television show.
Roberts entertained and informed students with his vast knowledge of food ingredients and their effects on the human body.
“I come from a health, nutrition and kinesiology background so I know your body from the inside out,” said Roberts.
His acclaimed cookbook “Munchies” is targeted toward young adults struggling to find quick, simple and tasty alternatives to campus dining halls and fast food.
“It’s really nice that Wright State provides so many opportunities for businesses to come in and speakers to come in,” said Libby Groll, a sophomore economics student.
The presentation was organized by the Office of Student Activities and Hospitality Services.
