Wright State will host the Ohio Deaf Festival on Saturday, Oct. 1, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Nutter Center.
Information booths and deaf-related resources will be available, along with family activities, arts, crafts and games. Attendees can also expect music from DJ Nico DiMarco, whose twin brother is the first deaf individual to win on “America’s Next Top Model.” Interpreters and C-print captioning will be provided.
The event is hosted by the Deaf Festival 2016 Committee.
The event is free but registration is required. Register at dcrcohio.org/deaf-festival-2016.html or by emailing Michelle Anthony at manthony@dcrcohio.org.
