Wright State University honored more than 1,800 graduating students at its fall commencement ceremony Dec. 17 in the Wright State Nutter Center.
The university’s 84th commencement ceremony recognized more than 1,150 graduating students in the fall class of 2016 and another 672 from the summer class. The fall class of 2016 included graduates with 748 bachelor’s degrees and 384 master’s as well those awarded associate degrees and post-master’s certificates.
The fall class included 727 students from the 16 counties anchored by Wright State’s Dayton and Lake campuses. Graduates came from 22 total states, and 234 international students from 16 nations. Graduating students range in age from 20 to 62.
Wright State President David R. Hopkins told graduates that success in life is measured by the way you treat others and how much more you cares about the greater good than self-interest. Read more >>
