For the seventh consecutive year, Wright State University students, faculty and staff made “Cards 4 Kids” for patients at Dayton Children’s Hospital March 29.
“I think when they receive the card, and they see the decorations and they see the ‘get well soon’ sentiment, they feel love and encouragement,” said Maysouly Douangmanith, a junior studying international relations.
Dozens of volunteers made hand-designed cards during the lunch-hour event, which was sponsored by We Serve U. This was the first time the event was held in the spring.
