Wright State’s Raj Soin College of Business named a Best Business School by The Princeton Review

The Wright State University Raj Soin College of Business is one of the nation’s most outstanding business schools, according to The Princeton Review.

The education services company chose the Raj Soin College of Business for its Best Business Schools for 2021, an evaluation of on-campus MBA programs at 244 business schools. The list was based on a combination of institutional and student survey data, including career outcomes, admissions selectivity and academic rigor.

Wright State’s Master of Business Administration Program develops managers and leaders whose understanding and vision encompass the total organization. Graduates work effectively within and across functional areas and understand the entire organization and its environment. MBA classes are offered in the evenings and online to meet the needs of working students.

“We recommend Wright State as an excellent choice for an aspiring MBA,” said Rob Franek, The Princeton Review’s editor-in-chief. “What makes our Best Business Schools list unique is that we factor in data from our surveys of students attending the schools about their campus and classroom experiences. For our 2021 list, we tallied surveys of more than 17,800 students at 244 business schools.”

The 80-question student survey asked students about their program’s academics, student body and campus life as well as about themselves and their career plans. The student surveys were conducted during the 2019-20, 2018–19 and 2017–18 academic years.

A survey of administrators covered topics ranging from academic offerings and admission requirements to data about currently enrolled students as well as graduates’ employment.

The Princeton Review did not rank the on-campus MBA programs overall, from 1 to 244, or name one business school best overall. All schools that participated in the surveys were considered for the lists. Schools that did not participate were not considered.

In November, The Princeton Review named the Raj Soin College of Business as one of the nation’s top colleges for aspiring entrepreneurs. The college was ranked No. 46 among schools for graduate entrepreneurship studies in 2021. Wright State’s ranking was based on its Master of Business Administration’s New Venture Creation concentration.

It was based on a survey of more than 300 institutions offering such programs and measured academics, enrollment, mentorship, competitions, scholarships and the number of companies started by graduates.

The Raj Soin College of Business is one of the select business schools to simultaneously hold the designations of AACSB accredited, Princeton Review Best Business School and be ranked by U.S. News and World Report as having one of the best undergraduate business programs.

The Princeton Review, which is headquartered in New York and not affiliated with Princeton University, is a leading tutoring, test prep and college admission services company.
