Recruiters from the Federal Reserve Bank, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and Premier Health will be part of a campus-wide virtual Employer Speaker Series during Fall Semester.
The three separate events are organized by Wright State University’s Career Services and will be held on Webex.
On Thursday, Sept. 30, from noon to 1:30 p.m., Jenni Frazer, group vice president for large bank supervision at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, will speak and answer questions. Information about careers and internships will be presented. The Federal Reserve hires from all majors but emphasizes coursework in economics, technology and analytics.
Frazer is responsible for managing the supervision of large, complex banking organizations, including Fifth Third Bancorp, Huntington Bancshares Inc., KeyCorp, and The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. She also manages internal communications, engagement and employee activities at the Cincinnati branch of the Fourth Federal Reserve District.
On Thursday, Oct. 7, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Kyle Boehmer, a procurement analyst at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, will speak about full-time jobs and internships for purchasing contract specialists, with business majors being highly desirable.
Contract specialists help supply the Air Force with everything from satellites, electronics and high-performance aircraft to products and services necessary for the day-to-day operation of military installations around the world. They negotiate contracts with the corporate giants of the defense industry, which put them in talks with companies like Lockheed Martin, Boeing and Northrop Grumman.
On Friday, Nov. 12, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Jason Jones, senior recruiter for Premier Health, will discuss employment and internship opportunities, with the primary focus being on nursing graduates.
