A day later, it’s worth talking more about what Vaughn Duggins did on Saturday in Wright State’s 67-64 win against Wisconsin-Green Bay.
Not only did the senior guard hit a running 3-pointer as time expired to send Wright State to a 2-1 Horizon League record (9-6 overall), but he scored a career-high 26 points after two sub-par performances and just days after learning he has a stress fracture in his back.
It was Duggins’ 77th career game in double figures scoring and his 12th career game of 20 points or more. He reached 1,439 career points, jumping Lyle Falknor for 11th place on the WSU career list.
