Wright State University students participated in a Tea Tasting and Vision Board event in the Student Union Atrium on Jan. 19.
Organized by the University Activities Board, the event encouraged students to visualize their goals by cutting inspiring pictures out of magazines and news articles and then placing them on poster boards.
“I feel like this event is to have creative freedom with how you want your vision to look because this is you and what you want for yourself,” said Qunijah Echols, a junior majoring in communication studies.
Jerica Marvin, a first-year nursing major, selected magazine clippings of people wearing medical scrubs for her board. “I want to look at them every day and manifest them,” she said.
Jaha Jackson, a first-year nursing major, said the event made her think about what she wanted out of her college experience. “It’s always nice to have events like this,” she said.
