Wright State University students, staff, faculty and alumni enjoyed a Thanksgiving meal together at the 14th annual Raidersgiving.
Dozens of volunteers planned the event and prepared the food. Faculty and staff greeted patrons as they enjoyed a buffet-style meal along with music, games and trivia in the Student Union Apollo Room on Nov. 26.
Raiders had a choice between a traditional Thanksgiving meal, a vegetarian meal or a Halal meal.
“It’s probably one of my favorite days of the year,” said Wright State University President Sue Edwards. “We get together as a community and share a meal, have a conversation, get to know one another and be thankful for the community Wright State is.”
Raidersgiving was sponsored by individual donations; Eric Bigler ’83, ’87; the Wright State University Foundation; Office of the President; Raider Landing; Quest Food and Pepsi. Giveaways and door prizes were donated by eCampus.
