A Dayton medical school and local physicians groups are faced with tackling the shortage of primary care physicians.
About a third of the 500 annual graduates from Wright State University’s Boonshoft School of Medicine currently stay in Dayton. And of those, only a small percentage become family doctors. The reasons are varied, but mostly include salary and time commitments.
